I don't check my DA account much lately either--I am so busy working that it's hard to come by and start answering messages.

Deadhouse Gates is in my opinion the weakest book in the entire Malazan series, so if it disappoints, do read on by all means, I gets a lot better--though there are still some parts in it which are absolutely great.

Sure, I love to comment on your work--it has a lot of individuality for me, and transports me to a different world in a way--your world... Most of what you create has you written all over it, which is as it should be. To me, living in a big city in continental Europe (but being a lover of nature), rural Australia seen through your eyes is one of those pathways to Faerie--the forests, the golden grass, the horses, the sunsets and sunrises without any sign of modern civilization--it's magic. So, in a way, your work enriches my life...

My absolute favorite work of all time, btw. is You and I--that pic makes me want to write a novel about the little girl and the horse that is her friend, there is so much depth to it.

Sorry for gushing, bit I wanted you to know that for me, your art has value, and it makes this corner of the planet a little more beautiful, that I get to look at it...
